Restrictions on the carriage of baggage

Both checked and unregistered baggage are not accepted for carriage:

  • Items and substances that may be dangerous to the aircraft, passengers, airline property or passengers on board the aircraft
  • Items whose weight and size significantly exceed the overall baggage allowance established by the airline's rules
  • Items whose transportation is prohibited by the laws and regulations of the state from the territory to or through the territory of which the transportation is carried out

For security reasons, the following dangerous items and substances are not accepted for carriage as unchecked baggage:

  • Firearms, pistols and military equipment – any object or semblance of an object from which a bullet can be fired or which can cause bodily injury
  • Piercing / cutting weapons and pointed objects – any piercing or cutting object that can cause bodily injury
  • Blunt-ended objects - any object with a blunt end that can cause bodily injury
  • Explosive and flammable substances – any explosive and flammable substances that pose a threat to the health of passengers and crew or to aviation safety / flight safety of aircraft or property
  • Chemical and toxic substances – any chemical and toxic substance that poses a threat to the health of passengers and crew or to aviation safety / flight safety of aircraft or property

The passenger is obliged to carry with him, without checking in the luggage:

  • Transportation documents, medical certificates, X-rays, negatives, especially valuable and fragile items, as well as money, credit cards, securities and documents, precious metals, stones, pearls and products made from them
  • The carrier is not responsible for the safety of these items if they are carried in checked baggage, regardless of whether this baggage is accepted for carriage with or without a declared value
  • The maximum permissible dimensions of a piece of hand luggage should not exceed 56 cm (22 inches) x 45 cm (18 inches) x 25 cm (10 inches), and the maximum dimensions of each piece of hand luggage for the sum of three dimensions – 115 cm (45 inches). These dimensions take into account the wheels, handles and side pockets of luggage items carried as hand luggage
  • If the hand luggage consists of more than 1 bag (place), then all these baggage items must be taken into account when accepting for transportation as one whole place and the total total dimensions of these places in 3 dimensions should not exceed 115 cm

There is a ban on the transportation of personal transport devices (monowheels, segways, gyroscuters, electric scooters)

To ensure the safety of flights on the flights of our airline, as well as on the flights of other airlines, there is a ban on the carriage of small personal transport devices (monowheels, segways, gyroscuters, electric scooters and other devices of this type) driven by lithium batteries in checked baggage and hand luggage.

Such restrictions have been introduced since December 16, 2015 by the safety standards of the International Air Transport Association( IATA), since lithium batteries are classified as "dangerous items" due to recorded cases of their spontaneous combustion.

We ask you to refrain from carrying these transport devices on our flights. Devices of the specified type will not be accepted for transportation and will be seized by the security services.

The airline is not responsible for the loss of your baggage if this baggage was seized in order to comply with aviation security requirements.

Rules for the carriage of liquids and other items in hand luggage

The list below is not exhaustive and is intended for use as an instructional material by employees conducting checks and inspections in order to comply with the safety rules of airline personnel, passengers, their hand luggage and checked baggage.

Various types of police batons (hard and flexible), for example, short, night and items accepted for carriage as checked baggage and hand luggage with restrictions.

When performing flights from the airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, liquids carried in hand luggage should not exceed the volume of 100 ml. Liquids in containers of more than 100 ml are not accepted for transportation even if the container is partially filled. The container should be placed in a transparent, resealable plastic bag with a volume of no more than 1 liter, provided at the airport. Each passenger is allowed to have only 1 transparent plastic bag with a volume of 1 liter. An exception should be made for liquids purchased in duty-free shops at the airport or on board the aircraft, provided that such liquid is packed in a securely sealed plastic bag, on which there is reliable confirmation that this packaging was made in airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft on the day (days) of the flight for both departing and transfer passengers.

An exception should be made for medicines, baby milk / food and dietary or medical products needed by the passenger during the flight. When transporting such items, at the request of the aviation security service, the passenger must provide proof confirming their vital necessity for his health. On the sticker / prescription of the prescribed medicine, the passenger's last name must be indicated, which must correspond to the last name on his / her boarding pass. If the medicine does not belong to prescription medications, it is necessary to determine the required amount for use in flight and allow it to be carried.

Note:

Liquids are water and other beverages, soups, syrups, jams, stews, sauces and pastes, food products in sauces or containing a large amount of liquid, creams, lotions, cosmetics and oils, perfumes, sprays, gels, including hair and shower gels, the contents of pressurized containers, including shaving foam, other types of foam and deodorants, pastes including toothpaste, mixtures of liquids with solids, mascara, lip gloss and lipstick and any products of a similar consistency at room temperature.
