An animal up to 8 kg can be transported in the cabin of the aircraft. To do this, the animal is placed in a carrier cage with air access. The dimensions of the cell in the sum of three dimensions can not exceed 115 cm. Usually these are the sizes of 50x40x25 cm. If the weight of the animal exceeds eight kilograms, then transportation is allowed only in the luggage compartment. In this case, the carrier must have a sealed bottom with an absorbent. The size of the cage should allow the animal to stand up to its full height and turn around 360 degrees.
Transportation of an animal is paid separately at the excess baggage rate, and is not included in the baggage allowance established for transportation. An exception is made for guide dogs that accompany disabled passengers.
Documents required for the transportation of animals:
Veterinary passport
Certificate of health status. It is issued by any state veterinary clinic. The certificate contains information about vaccinations by age. The last rabies vaccination must be made no earlier than a year and no later than two months before departure
For traveling abroad — a certificate from the club (SKOR or RKF) that the animal does not represent breeding value. References from other clubs raise questions at customs
