The first flight of the Uzbekiston Havo Yollari National Airline to the capital of Indonesia with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur took place.
An Uzbek delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Makhkamov and representatives of the State Committee for Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, travel companies and entrepreneurs arrived in Jakarta on board.
At the international airport of the Indonesian capital - "Sukarno-Khatta", the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Indonesia, together with the NJSC "Uzbekistan Havo Yullari", organized a ceremony of welcoming the passengers of the first flight.
The event was attended by the ambassador of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Indonesia Eco Gri Margianti, the airport administration, as well as media representatives.
As part of the opening of this direction, an Uzbek-Indonesian tourism forum was held with the participation of over 150 travel companies and representatives of the relevant business structures of Uzbekistan and Indonesia.
It should be noted that the opening of a new flight will serve to strengthen bilateral ties and develop the tourism potential of the two countries.
The national airline of Uzbekistan operates regular passenger flights to Jakarta twice a week.
