The second Boeing-787 Dreamliner of Uzbekistan Airways has landed at the Tashkent International Airport

 The management and employees of the national airline, representatives of various departments took part in the ceremonial meeting of the Dreamliner. & nbsp;   In connection with this event in the hall & nbsp;   Business   Lounge   "  Uzbekistan   airways  " a briefing was held for the republican and foreign media.

A non-stop flight from Seattle to Tashkent lasting about 12 hours was completed successfully. The plane was piloted by the crew of the National Airline of Uzbekistan: pilot-instructor of the Boeing-787 Flight Unit Andrei Tyan, co-pilot Yuri Gorkov and chief navigator of the airline Stanislav Gurfinkel. At the Boeing Corporation plant, the second Dreamliner was received by Gennady Kharlap, Deputy General Director of Uzbekistan Airways, and Andrey Margachev and Valery Kosov, Deputy Directors of Uzbekistan Airways Technics.

Only two months have passed since the delivery of the first Boeing-787 Dreamliner, and today, thanks to the level of training, professionalism and high responsibility, the pilots of our republic independently, without an intermediate landing, ferried the second dream liner to Uzbekistan. & nbsp;

Boeing Corporation is  -  a reliable partner of Uzbekistan in the supply, operation and maintenance of modern passenger aircraft,  -  said at a briefing Director General of the National Airline Valery Nikolaevich Tyan.  -  “Our cooperation is already 20 years old, it began in 1996 with the delivery of & nbsp; the first Boeing-767 aircraft. It is gratifying to note that in a short period of time, the pilots of the new Boeing 787 Flight Unit have successfully mastered this fundamentally new airliner, with the most modern technical and technological equipment, which is fundamentally different from those aircraft that are currently in the NAC fleet. ”

It should be noted that the high level of mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation of the Uzbek airline with the Boeing Corporation, achieved as a result of the full support of joint projects in the field of civil aviation by the First President of Uzbekistan, has a promising development. During the visit of the President of the Boeing Corporation R. Conner to Uzbekistan in September of this year, an agreement was reached on the purchase of three more new aircraft. The first two "Dreamliners" of the Uzbek airline were modifications 787-8, new ones are planned for another - & nbsp; it will be an extended version of 787-9 with an increased number of seats.

Recall that on August 31 of this year, Uzbekiston Havo Yollari received its first Boeing 787 & nbsp; Dreamliner.

Its commercial operation began on 5 September. The first international flight on the Dream Liner was performed on September 9 in Almaty, at present, the airline of Uzbekistan is successfully operating this type of aircraft on international routes. Passengers managed to feel the comfort and high service on board the Boeing-787 on the routes to Dubai, Delhi, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Almaty, Moscow and other destinations. With the acquisition of the second Dreamliner aircraft, based on advanced technologies, the airline will begin operating flights on other long-haul routes.
