The national airline "Uzbekiston Havo Yollari" informs air passengers that on January 1, 2018, a double ("green" and "red") corridor system will start operating at all international airports of the country at checkpoints across the customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At international airports, Uzbekistan Airways specialists carried out all the necessary infrastructure work to ensure the functioning of the double corridor system. Air passengers traveling across the customs border can choose the “green” or “red” corridor for customs operations as a form of declaring goods for non-commercial purposes.
The measures taken will significantly improve the logistics of the passenger flow.
Bringing customs clearance of citizens in line with generally accepted world standards and simplifying customs formalities is aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for the development of tourism and increasing the effectiveness of control methods.
