Due to the continuing application of restrictions on regular air traffic and quarantine measures by states, by the decision of the management of Uzbekistan Airways JSC until December 31, 2021, the term for the application of deposit vouchers for issuing deferred refunds of amounts paid for air tickets and services related to passenger transportation.
A deposit voucher is issued for the amount of the ticket price to be refunded, plus a bonus equal to 5% of this amount at the place of purchase of the ticket.
Deposit vouchers within a year from the date of their issuance can be used by passengers to pay for any other transportation or pay for additional services on the flights of Uzbekistan Airways.
After one year from the date the voucher was issued, the unused amount of the deposit will be returned to the passenger in the form of an initial payment.
The use of deposit vouchers is introduced on the basis of the decision of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 25, 2020 on ensuring the stability of the transport system during the quarantine period.
A deposit voucher is issued at the place of purchase of the ticket for the passenger whose passport details are indicated in the travel document.
